Use it or lose it, right? We all know that the best way to stay strong and agile is to keep our bodies moving, and what better way to do this than by hitting the courts? Most communities offer an amazing selection of amenities, including many court sports, to keep residents connected, fit, and loving their free time.


Anyone for Tennis? Yes, please, especially if you want a whole-body workout. Swinging the racket engages the shoulders, arms, back, and core muscles while reaching, moving, crouching, and even jumping will elevate your heart rate for a satisfying cardio hit.



Pickleball has taken America by storm in the last couple of years! One of the fastest-growing court sports for all ages, pickleball is not only super fun, but it increases cardiorespiratory fitness, reduces blood pressure, and improves a healthy cholesterol level – it’s a win-win win!



This fast-paced game will not only provide an effective cardiovascular workout, but will also build bone strength by promoting the formation of new bone tissue. In addition, the hand-eye coordination needed for this sport will keep vital motor skills in tip-top condition.



Volleyball instantly makes us think of summer, friends, and the beach, which is enough to put a smile on anyone’s face. But this fun team sport is also ideal for upper body strength, improving the reflexes and supporting a more grounded sense of balance.



Did you know that besides promoting complete physical fitness, badmitton builds and tones the quads, glutes, calves, and hamstrings? Furthermore, it improves the functioning of the heart by encouraging better blood flow, making it a great choice of exercise for overall wellness.


Bocce Ball

Bocce ball may be a pretty low-impact game, but it still has many physical and mental health benefits. It’s a great stress reliever and involves light cardio. As it’s often played outdoors, it usually involves fresh air and Vitamin D, giving sunlight—all great reasons to check out this sociable game.
